Daisy Johnson, Kiran Millwood-Hargrave and Sarvat Hasin have each been inspired by Oxford, having met on the Masters in Creative Writing Course at the University of Oxford. They will be sharing their inspired by Oxford tales as well as introducing their fiction published work.
Daisy Johnson is the author of the wonderful short stories collection ‘Fen’ which has been nominated for the Sunday Times EFG Short Stories Award and the New Angle Prize for Literature. ‘Fen’ is set in a world where animals and people commingle and fuse, where curious metamorphoses take place, where myth and dark matter still linger. It mixes English folklore and a contemporary eye, sexual honest and combustible invention, coming together to create a startling piece of modern fiction.

Following her map, her heart and an ancient myth, Isabella discovers the true end of her journey: to save the island itself.
